I. Am. Going. Insane.

You know those times when you really just want to yell at someone until you can't anymore? I'm kinda at one of those points.
I am currently babysitting our family friends son Aidan. He is 11 years old, and has one of the worst cases of Only-Child-Syndrome I have ever seen. In his mind, everything that he says goes, and everything he does is right. He fights absolutely everything that I say, and will barely do anything that I ask him to do.
Don't get me wrong, when I'm not in charge of Aidan I enjoy being with him... For a short period of time.
But when you have to spend multiple days in charge of him, you start to go a little crazy. I can't really handle it all that much longer!
Oh and the other thing, he gives me attitude all the time. Like today.......

We were driving into down town Seattle to go to his eye doctor appointment, and I was kinda stressed, because I was trying to find parking, and find the place at the same time. So I ended up going down a couple wrong streets, and then going in a complete circle, and he has to go and start complaining about it, and whining, and giving me attitude, like "Julie you're not doing this right!" "We were already here..." "Oh my gosh Julie....." <----- That one; that one is the most annoying thing to hear ever. Cause he says it in this voice like I'm a total screw up... REALLY?????

Alright anyway, that was my venting, I feel a lot better now, and I got a post in again! Hahah. Sorry that I haven't written anything in a whileee.

At some point soon I will get a post up about our California trip last week! :)

Zoo Trip, Zoo Trip, Zoo Trip!!

Every time I see someone holding a baby I have a moment of thought were I just think "I want oneee!!!" Then right after that I have a moment of panic where I think "What the hell am I thinking I could not handle that!"

Well today, I learned for sure that I could in no way shape or form handle a child right now.

Cori and I decided to take my 4 and 5 year old cousins Bryce and Livi Jean to the zoo. This was a serious adventure! It was so much fun, but it involved waking up at 9 to get ready, going to pick up both kids, driving to Seattle, then wandering the zoo for like 3 hours, going back and forth to the same things like 4 times, trying to convince both of them that the fake dinosaurs wouldn't hurt them, etc. etc.
Don't get me wrong, I loved today. It was so so so much fun! I love those kids to death.... But I came home at about 6, completely drained and exhausted and basically just ready for a really long nap. I don't know how parents handle being parents, but I have soo much more respect for them after today! Kids are a handful. Anyway here are some pictures from out adventures today. This is Me Remebering I Have a Blog

Until about 10 minutes ago when my cousin posted a blog, I had totally forgotten then I even had a blog. Everything has been kinda crazy for awhile, hence the forgetfulness.
Quick update- I AM NOW GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL! :) :)

It's kinda an awesome feeling.
Annnnnnnnd prom was amazing! I am extremely glad I went.

Summer has now started, and we have only had like 3 sunny days. It makes me sad. The sun really needs to come out again!

The Race

It's like I've been running a really long race. But not a race that you needed to do fast. Just one you needed to get done And all of a sudden, 18 years later, I can see the finish line. I've ran past goals, challenges, bad times, and good times but I don't look back. I just remember, and appreciate what I ran by.  Yet here I am, in clear view of that finish line. Yet after that finish line, the race is just starting... Past that finish line is this little bit of a break (summer) and then there is a giant START sign for the next race. And that race is even longer then the one I just ran. But I'm excited. Scared out of my mind, but excited. And it's been a damn good race. Time to make the next part even better. :)

24 More Days!!

Recently I discovered that I really enjoy writing. After not doing a post for awhile I start to feel weird, and really just need to share something with anyone and everyone. But talking doesn't work. I mean I love to talk, it's quite fun, but it just doesn't fulfill my need to tell people things. And then it hit me. I just need to write it all down. I would love for other people to read it (Thank you to those who care enough about my life to continue reading this blog! (: You're awesome!) but I don't need others to read it. I just truly enjoy the process of writing out my thoughts on something. Except school papers. Those are awful. I can't write those. It's things were I can write with my own voice, my own opinions, and not worry about getting a grade on it. Maybe I should write for a paper? That would be a lot of fun actually! I'll have to look into that. Speaking of looking into things......

Green River sign up has opened for fall! I was informed of this about 4 hours ago, and that's when it hit me, that I really am moving out of high school! Less than 30 days left!! And that I really don't know what I want to do, or how I want to do it... So Mom is gonna help me figure out this college registration thing, and then it's Green River time in the fall!

And other quick amazing life update, I have recovered Hawaiian Haystacks! I forgot about this food until about a week ago. And then since Benjamin and I make dinner before track meets, I figured, lets make Hawaiian Haystacks! (For those of you who don't know, a Hawaiian Haystack is rice with chicken gravy on top along with an assortment of things like pineapple, celery, chow mien noodles, olives, cheese, and lots of others options. Ask me if you want a better recipe, cause they are really one of the best foods I have ever had! I love them) But yeah, that was an amazing meal. I was so happy after that. I love them. I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't get a picture before we ate it all, but I do have the after picture haha.

Oh P.S. on this, I know the picture looks gross, and they don't sound that good, but they really are so great.
